I love what I do so much that I even spend my time off of work designing and developing.
A lot of people would consider me crazy, but I consider myself lucky to have found something I'm so passionate about that I never get bored with it.

I've been designing and building websites for almost ten years. I began in high school by putting together simple, personal sites through GeoCities (remember them?). However, it wasn't until I started reading these books about a famous wizard that I found that web design was my true passion. I built an entire fan site from the ground up using PHP, HTML and CSS, learning all of it along the way. I maintained the site for roughly two years before letting it go; then I worked on small projects here, and there, before deciding it was time to persue a career.
In August 2007, I began attending college for web and graphic design. I not only wanted to learn how to work with the necessary programs, but to gain an understanding of how the design world was put together. After three years I took home an Associate's Degree in both web and graphic design.
In 2008, while still in school, I began freelancing. I was lucky to have a teacher that liked my work enough to give my name out. Before graduation I had managed to build a few small websites for local businesses, and even secured a large account that allowed me to work from home. I am still currently freelancing; however, I also work for a fabrication company in Sioux City where I am the only designer and developer for their multiple websites, and monthly newsletter campaign.
In my free time—when I'm not designing—I spend most of my time with my lovely wife, and our adorable pups. We have two of our own, and typically foster one other for Noah's Hope, a local rescue shelter. I also love to do work around the house, read, play the Wii, and play the guitar.
